About Our Church

The History!
TPC of Waco

TPC of Waco was born out of a burden that God laid on our hearts in late 2017.

We began to fast and pray, earnestly seeking to find the will of God. We soon felt that God wanted us to begin a work for Him in the Waco area.

As we moved toward what we felt God's will was for both our family and the Waco community, God began to confirm His will to us in many different ways.

We began our services on December 1, 2019, and in our first service, we had our first guest!  We are excited to see what God has in store for the City of Waco, and the surrounding areas! God uses people, and we want to be used to further his kingdom in this city, and we believe that you can also be a part of what He has in store for Waco, Texas!  God uses people to further His kingdom, and you really should be a part of what He has in mind for Waco.  Our desire is to be a part of establishing a work for him in this vibrant growing community in the heartland of Texas.  Please come join us, and let's see what God will do with everyone working together!

What We Believe!

God's Word
is Awesome!

We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
(2 Peter 1:21, John 17:17)

We believe that every situation that we can face in life is addressed By Principles in the Word of God

Psalm 119:11
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
(Psalm 119:4-5, 105)

We believe that we should treat others as we want to be treated!

Matthew 7:12
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

(Luke 6:31)

We believe that the ONLY way to be successful in living for God is to fall in love with him!

Matthew 22:37-38
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.

(Psalms 119:165)

We believe that the Word of God is a most precious gift!

Psalms 138:2
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

(Hebrews 4:12)

We believe in One God!

Deuteronomy 6:4  Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

(Ephesians 4:5, Isaiah 45:5, Malachi 3:6)

We believe that Jesus is the One True God!

John 1:14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

(Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-14, John 10:30, John 14:9, John 12:44)

We believe in Repentance!

Matthew 4:17  From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

(Matthew 3:2, Mark 1:15, Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19)

We believe in Jesus Name Baptism!

Acts 2:38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

(Acts 8:16 , Acts 10:47, Acts 19:5)

We believe in the infilling of the Holy Ghost, evidenced by speaking with other tongues, as the Spirit gives the utterance!

Acts 2:4  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

(Acts 10:45-46, Acts 19:6)

We believe in holiness and separation: Without holiness man cannot see the Lord!
